bruise thumb?

bruise thumb?

After a day of vaulting I noticed that my left thumb near the bottom and the inside of my thumb hurts. It's kinda red and hurts when i press it. Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know why this is happening?

I used to get a blister there. For me it was a combination of holding the pole too tight, and not letting it roll to the side when i jumped. As soon as i let the pole open, i stopped getting a blister there.

i used to have a sore spot in that area too, but it didn last very long...not sure what it from, cause it went away after a while..

Im not mad i have a good sense of humor I guess you would have to hang w/ me and my friends to know what u look dumb means? My bad its hard to make mad just messin w/u man.. oh im not going to start fights w/ ne one one the net, especially a pole vaulter.
