Someone got into the storage shed and used a knife to dig themselves a tunnel through part of our pits :(

I guess there is some kind of side door on the storage container. I never really looked at it before. My guess some kids got that open, the pits were butted up against it, so they knifed a tunnel through it so they could hang out inside. As far as I know nothing was stolen, and they found the knife in the container.

Wow...Terrible! About 7 years ago when we stored our mats outside under the bleachers someone lit them on fire and it burned a huge hold through the aluminum bleachers. That was costly!

Cost of replacing those 2 sections plus the top pad (which was also knifed up) = over $7,000 :crying:

Hopefully the insurance will cover it.

Yeah we'll have to see what (if anything) the insurance covers and what kind of budget we have. It might just make more sense to buy a whole new pit.

Becca, Is one of those sections supposed to be hollow? If so, you could probably get an upholstery shop out in your neck of the woods to fix it pretty cheaply.

Parts of it are hollow, but there is a lot of damage to the solid sections of foam.
