The Texas Relays website has posted the "A" section women's results from the competition held Saturday afternoon, but almost a day later hasn't shown the men's results. Since the weather was apparently very cold and windy (only five women vaulted and two of those no-heighted), it may be that the men's vault was cancelled. Perhaps someone can let us know.
The women's "A" section results:

Hot tailwind is the standard in TX.
Ha ha, no. Hot crosswind is the standard in TX. Most of the tailwind runways have been pulled up and moved since they interfered with football. UT and a handful of other colleges are the only places you'll find a tailwind in TX.

Hey, at least half our population doesn't die when it hits 90 degrees.
Well houses out here do not usually come equipped with air conditioning...
luckily our track at King's is surrounded by trees, and the pole vault runway is almost always in the shade. A little chillier for me while coaching in the spring, but awesome for those rare summer days it gets above the 70s.
The men's A group was cancelled for fear of injury to those guys. None of the vaulters were worried at all about that. I was impressed by their can do attitude, but the threat of worse weather just up the road concerned those in charge and the quality of athletes in that field chancing an injury at this point in the season really made it a tough decision for all involved. I do have to compliment the Nebraska vaulters on their "slip and slide" ride through the pit. That was just one of the few high lights of a cold day. Those guys can really hydroplane!
compete and jump safe, have fun
