Letting Go of The pole...

So...I just started this year and i have some trouble letting go of the pole...any suggestions?!?!?:D

Letting go of the pole as in you take it with you throughout your vault? You just have to make sure to push it forwards (or backwards, if you're not turning yet) as your hips are going (hopefully!) over the bar.

Just try it with a couple of pop-ups. Don't hold real high when you doing them at first, then when you feel comfortable with dropping the pole then move up. That's what I did.

letting go came almost natural to me. the first time i made it over 7 ft i just did it instinctively without thought so that might be the same for you. if you have made it over a bar
