UIL: Steroid tests about to begin

Three days after champion sprinter Marion Jones admitted performance-enhancing drugs helped her win five medals at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the University Scholastic League said its random steroid testing program for high school athletes in Texas will begin in about three weeks.

High schoolers shouldn't be using banned substances to begin with
our coachs told us that we even need to go to our doctors to make sure the prescription medication we're taking doesnt have any kind of steriods.
before my mom would sign the steriod testing form that all athletes and their parents in the state had to sign before any kind of competion she called my doctor, b/c they're making this such a serious issue.
