Nico Weiler 17-4!!!

Tonight at the Arcadia Invitational night meet. Good showing of Boys pole vaulters, 13 at 15-1 or higher. Nico then went for a new Pr of 17-8 but missed on 3 very very close attempts..

If anyone want to transfer to Minnesota, are male H.S state record is 15'7 and 14'9 won state last year.. OH yeah by the way is snowed this weekend.. We have not a had a outdoor meet yet.. good jump boys

Good job nico. I havent seen the 17'4" but you blew through like crazy one that 17'1!! Talk about room in front of and behind the bar!

on his 17-4 clearence he was jumping on a 5 meter (16'5" ish) length pole 14.7 flex. that makes it a 205 weight rating.

Are you kidding me? a 5m 205?? He cant wiegh much more than 170. It seems like he should be jumping at least 18' with a 16' grip on a pole 35Ibs over his weight. Probably very soon he will.

and (im pretty sure but not positive) he was jumping on a smaller pole on his 17-1 jump and then moved up to the 5 meter 14.7 on his 17'4 jump. i got to be right by the runway when he was jumping it was amazing
